Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
M.H.S. in Mental Health | earned May 2019
Finishing my Master’s degree was both an educational and personal milestone. My thesis specifically was a testament of turning personal tragedy into an opportunity for growth and achievement. The faculty and the student body introduced me to concepts in systems of healthcare, the intersection between transportation and health and mental health. Johns Hopkins not only reaffirmed my medical aspirations but also refined them though a public health perspective.
The University of Chicago
B.A. in Biological Sciences | earned June 2018
Neuroscience Specialization, Visual Arts Minor
UChicago challenged me in every possible way and expanded both the breadth and depth of my understanding. Here, I had to relearn how to learn and truly evaluate my own systems and habits. At the same time, I made some of my dearest friends here, participated in the arts, organized large events and fundraisers, as well as occupied many positions as part of the largest residential house Crown House (Best House).
